What is the 100th Day of School Celebration?

If you don’t have school-age kids or more specifically, children in elementary school, you may not be aware of the celebration around the 100th Day of School. 

In recent years the tradition of celebrating the 100th Day of School allows teachers to reinforce concepts they have been teaching all year. Much of the focus is around math concepts as well as time of day, the calendar and days of the week. 

This is all done in a fun way that lets kids be creative and embrace what they’ve learned so far during the school year. Typically the 100th day of school celebration happens sometime in February, depending on how each individual school lays out its calendar.
