Our 4th Annual Six Shooter Challenge is our biggest one yet. Forty-seven RushOrderTees employees signed up to compete for screen printing’s ultimate prize: the Golden Squeegee. Over 40 employees may have signed up, but only one can be the victor.
Competing in the Six Shooter is not an easy task, as many of our non-screen printers came to learn. The crowd is cheering, the cameras are flashing, and the pressure is on. Not to mention, the event is streamed live to our Facebook for online viewers.
Round 1 is now complete, and it saw some intense competition. There were upsets, blowouts, and maybe even a few tears – but the strong survived to see another round. Check out our first round photos.
Although we have the word “Rush” in our name, we strive for accuracy and quality over speed when we complete orders. Speed is also an important factor in our Six Shooter Challenge, but we can’t let go of our dedication to high-quality apparel. The Gabe vs. Letitia match came down to quality when we were judging, and ultimately, Gabe won for his nearly flawless prints.
Despite the steep competition and pressure, one challenger came out on top for round one. Our screen printer Kristina finished with the second fastest time in the first round and had no flawed prints. If you want to see how to screen print with speed and finesse, let Kristina show you how it’s done in this video.
We’re live again on Facebook today at 2:15 pm EST for day one of round 2. The bracket has been trimmed down to 33, and each competitor is one step closer to winning the Golden Squeegee. Be sure to check it out!
