ABOUT US:

Michael, The President and Owner of Rushordertees.com Custom T-Shirt company, never had any intentions of opening a t-shirt company. It all started with a family friend mentioning a the huge need for a good online source for screen printing and embroidery service. After some thought, he designed a site which he thought was suitable and launched it on July 2001. Now, all he had to do was to learn how to screen print!

Michael had zero experience with screen printing and he did not want to contract the jobs out to other companies. Somehow, he saw an ad for a workshop and seminar on the screen printing industry. He went to the workshop for one single day. It was a very basic press with the ability to print up to 4 colors. So with the 8 hours of printing knowledge he had now acquired, all he had to do was put it to use. The orders started coming in through some online advertising and from some local pizza shops, but he was realizing that most of the orders that came in were rush orders. All of his customers wanted their orders much faster than most companies could deliver. But since he owned his own press, he spent as many hours as he could hitting his deadlines for his customers. It was not easy rushing around all day and night to hit deadlines for his customers, but he learned that this was the main reason customers in the area were now using him instead of other companies that could take up to 3 weeks to deliver!

Michael then thought it would be in his best interest to just call it what it is, Rushordertees.com. And on August of 2002, Rushordertees.com was designed and launched for the public and the original site would fade out of the picture. And although 123 EZ Tees, Inc. was the company name, it was not as accurate of a name as Rushordertees.com.

He took his press out of the house and rented a building no more than 10 minutes away from his house. He knew that he would practically be living in there, so he made sure it was not too far away. He put his press in this 3000 square foot building, taking up no more than 100 square feet of space because he had a vision of what this company could be if he continued to provide the quality of service and turnaround he was providing.

On October of 2003, Michael hired his first employee, who not after long, would handle all of the orders that needed to be printed, while Michael would handle all of the sales and designs. It was a great partnership which really helped the growth of the company and his first employee is still with Rushordertees.com to this day. Once you work with Michael, you almost do not ever want to leave because of his enthusiasm and love for this business. All of his employees are encouraged to think outside of the box and bring him new ideas so that we can make sure the site is as helpful and as useful as possible so that you do not have any unanswered questions before you place an order with us.

Things started really happening for Rushordertees.com by now. Rushordertees.com had a huge following, reorders for custom t-shirts were coming in faster than he could produce them and the 3,000 square foot building was quickly filling up with more and more orders, inks, and equipment. It was just not big enough to fit his growing company any longer. He was already working from 8AM to Midnight everyday of the week, so the only option he had was to purchase a larger building.

Michael made sure that this time, he would start getting out of the office earlier and that he would have more than enough room in case it were to grow even quicker. Wrong again, the new 10,000 square foot building quickly filled up with more and more equipment and even more people. It was as if Rushordertees.com was growing at a pace never seen in this industry.

Rushordertees.com is now in a 50,000 square foot building and we are just crossing our fingers that we will not have to move anymore 2 ton equipment, but at the same time, Michael will do exactly what he has to do to make sure that his customers always have their orders on time and that his employees always have MORE than enough room to spread their legs and enjoy their work environment.

We still own the first press that Michael had once used, it is now framed in the company headquarters in the condition it was retired in to remember how Rushordertees.com had started. And when people ask what that ugly thing is and why it's the centerpiece of the room, we just tell them that without it, there is no company and the tens of thousands of customers who need us to handle their rush deliveries every year would find themselves out of luck without it.

That old press now lays in near shambles. It got more use out of it than any press should have. It is estimated that over 500,000 shirts were printed on that little guy, most of them printed by Michael himself before he had to hand over his squeegee for a telephone so he could continue to grow the business. He knows the screen printing process in and out. With his experience in rush screen printed orders, he knows how to get things done quickly and accurately so that your order will always ship on time.
